    Role Definition

     

    Support syndication transaction activities, which may include closing packages, bank funding, and fiscal agency responsibilities after closing such as collections, modifications, and remarketing processes, or supporting global bank loan participations in the Loan IQ system including the processing of agent bank notices and reporting.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepares documents and checklists for syndication process including legal document and payment structure and ensures that all documentation and conditions are met prior to syndicated booking.

    • Processes and tracks payments for syndicated deals and collaborates with CFSC Accounting and external partners to maintain accurate payments on and resolve any reconciliation items.

    • Processes day-to-day activity related to syndicated deals, including but not limited to; monthly or quarterly payments, accrued and one-time fee application, dispositions/terminations, and working with internal CFSC customers to modify contracts as necessary, utilizing checklists and reviewing underlying documentation to book account changes.

    In addition to the aforementioned principal duties and responsibilities, additional responsibilities specific to Capital Markets include:

    • Prepares documents for syndication closing process including legal document review, calculation of consideration amounts, and all fiscal agency activities post close including bi-monthly payments to investors, collections, modifications and remarketing of assets.

    • Participates in corporate Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and performs SOX control checks as necessary.

    • Processes and tracks all post-sale payments to investors and collaborates with CFSC Accounting and external banking partners on required payment reconciliation activities.

    • Prepares payoff quotes for investors on early terminations of syndicated assets.

    • Works with CFSC Asset Management on all off-lease and repossession sales of syndicated assets. Coordinates payments to investors for assets remarketed by CFSC Asset Management.

    Summary Pay Range:

    $72,672.00 - $135,444.00

     

    Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
