Job Summary:
The Product Manager is a natural collaborator with strong business acumen and a deep understanding of technical product management. As a forward-thinking thought leader, they articulate the product strategy and align cross-functional teams around clear outcomes, success metrics, and priorities. Working closely with the product team, the Product Manager drives innovation by anticipating market trends, listening to users, and executing efficiently and strategically to bring the product vision to life.
Role Duties May Include:
+ Perform market research and identify revenue growth opportunities
+ Steer focus toward appropriate investment mix in product stability, scalability, new feature development, and future-proofing Fluency’s positioning
+ Be an internal leader and partner for understanding, articulating, and solving complex business problems related to platforms, systems, and infrastructure
+ Communicate progress and strategic evolution regularly to senior executives
+ Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the product development organization, focusing on quality, reliability, and the appropriate level of scalability
+ Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth
+ Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
+ Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
+ Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
+ Drive product launches, including working with the marketing team, executives, and other product management team members
+ Compile and assist with the interpretation of product activation analytics and suggest improvements for product users
+ Recommend improvements to product usability and product marketing based on usage, data analytics, and user feedback
What We Look For:
+ Five plus years of product management experience with a focus on digital advertising products
+ Strategy, research, and analysis experience
+ Digital marketing domain experience
+ Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, prioritize and evaluate opportunistic ideas with internal and external partners
+ Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
+ Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
+ Creative and analytical thinker who takes initiative with a proactive approach
+ Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
+ Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluency is headquartered in Vermont. This position is remote US based. If local, you have the option to go into the office.
