Required Skills:

Software Engineer - Systems Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute software tests.

2. Research, design, develop, build and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for large distributed components that run applications.

3. Test system modification.

4. Build new features and improve existing products.

5. Work on problems of diverse scope and design core, backend software components.

6. Handle large-scale data storage, synchronization and coordination of large server cluster, and provide a runtime environment for frontend code.

7. Conduct design and code reviews.

8. Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.

9. Complete medium to large features, each with many tasks.

10. Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area and/or systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

11. Requires a Bachelor's degree (Foreign equivalent accepted) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.

12. Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving the following:

13. 1. Coding in one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, Java, or C#

14. 1. Building large-scale infrastructure applications

15. 2. Designing and completing medium to large features independently without guidance

16. 3. Python, PHP, or Haskell

17. 4. Relational databases and SQL

18. 5. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)

19. 6. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS as evidenced by file manipulation, advanced commands, and shell scripting

20. 7. Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

21. 8. Building highly-scalable performant solutions

22. 9. Data processing, programming languages, databases, networking.

$214,032/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
