Are you known for your attention to detail, superb documentation skills, and enjoy collaborating with engineers? This may be the position for you! As a Configuration Control Coordinator, you will review and release change notifications to planning and engineering and work with Engineers to ensure drawing changes are tracked and kept up to date within our database. You'll also maintain engineering drawings and documents used by manufacturing and production to build and integrate aircraft systems.

Responsibilities:
+ Assist Multiple Programs: Provide support across various programs, adapting to specific requirements and ensuring consistency in configuration management.
+ Comprehensive Training: Receive training on relevant software tools (PLM, SolidWorks, CATIA, Zuken) to effectively manage configuration control tasks.
+ Configuration Management: Maintain and update databases and documentation to reflect the current aircraft configuration accurately.
+ Change Control: Facilitate and control the introduction of changes to aircraft configurations, ensuring thorough review, approval, and implementation.
+ Auditing and Compliance: Conduct regular audits or reviews to verify configuration data accuracy and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
+ Documentation and Communication: Prepare and maintain configuration documents and serve as a liaison between engineering, production, and quality assurance teams.
+ Collaboration and Problem Solving: Work closely with engineering and production personnel to prevent adverse impacts from configuration changes and resolve configuration issues through corrective actions.
+ Training: Provide training to personnel on configuration management procedures and tools to ensure effective support for program requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience
+ A higher-level degree may substitute for relevant experience
+ Relevant experience may substitute for education requirement
+ Basic Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel skills
+ Ability to accurately review documentation and apply standards in accordance with process and procedure
+ High understanding of Engineering drawings
+ Knowledge of Military and Aerospace Standards
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Experience reading engineering drawings
+ Understanding of Configuration Management procedures and process
+ Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military
+ Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS 9100 standards
+ Previous Configuration Management experience highly designed
+ Knowledge of EIA-649 would be a good add
+ Background in Aviation
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $21.95 - $30.18. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
