Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support the design, development, configuration, integration, and maintenance of complex SAP systems and custom solutions. This role involves working across multiple SAP modules, providing high-level troubleshooting, and ensuring solutions meet business and mission-critical requirements.
**Primary Responsibilities** :
+ Design, develop, and configure custom applications and enhancements within SAP systems.
+ Integrate SAP solutions with other enterprise applications and data sources.
+ Provide Tier 3-level support for complex and escalated SAP technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear documentation.
+ Collaborate with business analysts, functional leads, and project managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
+ Optimize existing SAP code and participate in performance tuning, debugging, and system testing activities.
+ Partner with SAP Basis and Security teams to ensure system integrity, performance, and compliance with security policies.
+ Ensure all development efforts adhere to SAP best practices, established coding standards, and documentation requirements.
Basic Qualifications
+ TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
+ Proven experience in the software engineering lifecycle, including design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software for new and existing systems.
+ Proficient in software requirements analysis, software architecture, and hardware compatibility assessments.
+ Experience developing and maintaining infrastructure and platform-level software tools.
+ Strong knowledge of software development principles, standards, processes, and tools across the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently with significant impact on project deliverables and operational outcomes.
+ Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and client-facing teams.
+ Ability to develop complex solutions that require in-depth technical knowledge and collaboration with internal domain experts.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior engineers; capable of leading technical processes or projects.
+ Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience using Atlassian JIRA for project tracking.
+ Hands-on experience with one or more of the following programming languages or technologies:
+ Java, C++, Embedded Systems, Linux environments
+ Experience with cloud computing platforms, cloud architecture, and DevOps tools such as:
+ Docker, Jenkins, Continuous Integration pipelines
+ Knowledge or experience with AI and Machine Learning concepts and applications.
+ Familiarity with software testing methodologies and systems integration practices.
+ Experience in secure software development and compliance in software infrastructure projects.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
