    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Superintendent in various locations. The Electrical Superintendent will oversee the scheduling, coordination, and supervision of electrical craft employee activities. This may include supervising multiple trade groups such as electricians, plumbers, sheet metal workers, and others within the construction industry.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    Resource Management: Plan and supervise Assistant Superintendents (on larger projects) and craft activities, including determining construction methods, workforce levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedules, and documenting actual hours worked. Maintain liaison with departments such as Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, and support craft activities align with the project schedule.

     

    Project Planning and Strategy: Coordinate assigned work with the activities of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.

     

    Risk Management: Assist the Labor Relations Department in maintaining communications with unions, resolving jurisdictional disputes, requisitioning required workforce, and determining the labor approach for assigned projects. Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements, document issues, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.

     

    Team Leadership: Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning departments to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedules. Experience in resolving construction problems such as lack of productivity and work interfaces is required.

    Compensation:

    $45/hr to $50/hr

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 8+ years of experience of supervisory experience in automotive and data center construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures

     

    - Understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and demonstrated ability to control and supervise large groups of people

     

    - Experience with $15 Million commercial or industrial project scopes

     

    - Valid drivers license & passport

    - Willingness to travel 70% null
