Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Credit Risk Manager with a strong background working in a large banking or financial services institution. This role is ideal for professionals with 610 years of experience in credit risk who are passionate about ensuring the integrity and quality of credit processes within a financial institution.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and execute audit engagements focused on credit risk with minimal supervision.

-Assess and mitigate risks associated with credit extension across commercial portfolios.

-Evaluate borrower and portfolio risk, ensuring alignment with underwriting standards and regulatory expectations.

-Review loan files for quality, covenant compliance, and adherence to internal credit policies.

-Analyze loan structures, collateral, and internal controls related to credit approval and monitoring.

-Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen credit risk frameworks and remediation processes.

Skills and Requirements

- 6 to 10 Years in Credit Risk

- 3-4 Years Auditing Experience in a banking or large financial institution

- Credit risk fundamentals, like borrower risk and portfolio risk.

- Knowledge of credit underwriting standards, loan structures and collateral analysis

- Familiarity with lending products as commercial loans, specialty line, real estate, consumer and syndicated.

- Experience reviewing files for quality, covenant compliance and credit policy adherence.

- Awareness on regulatory expectations for underwriting standards and portfolio monitoring

- Ability to evaluate internal controls over credit approval, monitoring, and remediation - Large Financial Institution Experience

- Based in or willing to relocate to Memphis, TN; Birmingham, AL; Miami, FL; New Orleans, LA; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX or Charlotte, NC null
