    Job Description

    General Accounting Manager reporting to the Senior Director, General Accounting. This critical role will support the US Markets consolidated financial reporting, monthly and quarterly close activities, international statutory audits, and provide direction and support to (1) Chicago-based Senior Accountant and (8) Pune-based accountants.

    Responsibilities

    Support the segment monthly and quarterly close process which includes ensuring close activities are performed within agreed upon timelines, reviewing and approving journal entries and account reconciliations, and preparing workpapers and analyses

     

    o Extended hours may be required from LWD through BD3 on non-quarter end months

     

    o Extended hours may be required from LWD through BD10 on quarter-end months

     

    Support international statutory audits and financial statements filings

     

    Support M+A integration activities by completing assigned integration steps, performing financial system testing and other ad hoc requests (completed acquisition on 4/1/25 with full integration expected by 8/31/25)

     

    Proactively partner with FP&A to understand any changes to operating expenses or one-time adjustments in advance of month end close

     

    Foster communication and teamwork between US-based segment accounting team and global capability center record to report team

    Skills and Requirements

     

    BS in Accounting

    CPA

    6+ years of public accounting experience

     

    2+ years of leadership experience in a Manager or Director role

     

    Experience working with international teams ideally teams in India

     

    Experience preparing and reviewing Form 10-K and 10-Q reports for publicly traded companies

     

    Experience with statutory audits

     

    PeopleSoft, Blackline, and OneStream system experience (or similar ERP and reporting software)

    Experience with integration activities for M&A null
