    The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location.

     

    CNO’s worksite division, Optavise, is seeking a Senior Account Management Associate to create long-term, trusting customer relationships with a portfolio of moderately sized clients. After the initial sale, and post implementation, the Senior Associate will act as the lead point of contact with the client. In this capacity, the Sr Associate will act as an advocate on the client’s behalf and ensure that the client remains successful with their Optavise solution. The Sr Associate will be the primary liaison between the client and Optavise Sales and Implementation resources. Key measures of success will be client retention, utilization of the solution by the client’s members and adherence to Optavise best practices, ability to create client references, and the ability to upsell / support additional sales within the client.

    As a Senior Account Management Associate, your responsibilities will include:

    + Understand long-term business and benefits strategy objectives and ensure relevant resources are aligned.

    + Facilitate communication initiatives to meet engagement goals and address Client’s benefits strategy.

    + Identify new upsell / cross sales opportunities as well as lead renewal negotiations.

    + Ensure that delivery resources are looped in appropriately and in a timely matter.

    + Track that key objectives are being met.

    + Act as a trusted advisor across client partners and leadership, while regularly engaging with clients’ key executives and operations team members.

    + Create value-focused reporting and communications with the client and ensuring that the client is aware of product and service advances underway at Optavise.

    The Senior Account Management Associate position is well-suited for you if you:

    + Address risks swiftly, communicate effectively, and incorporate the strengths of the team.

    + Think critically and champion sound business decisions.

    + Consult with clients and prospects to maintain a positive impression. You immediately establish yourself as a partner.

    + Feel confident making presentations to large groups and articulate business concepts easily.

    + Master prioritizing and re-prioritizing as new scenarios unfold and challenges emerge.

    + Mitigate problems and provide solutions.

    What you’ll need:

    + Mastery of employee benefits and the sales process around worksite or health care solutions.

    + 3 years of experience working as a valued partner with brokers, human resource executives and high-level decision makers.

    + Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years of equivalent work experience.

    What will set you apart:

    + Success at cross-selling and securing high renewal rate in the employee benefits or health care space.

    + Proven expertise with presentations and sales cycles.

    + Experience with Salesforce.

    Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.

     

    All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
