About the Role:
As a CBRE Systems Sr. Engineer, you will manage and allocate infrastructure resources by monitoring and maintaining system platforms in support of CBRE's information technology operations.
This job is part of the System Engineering job function. They are responsible for successfully executing and monitoring software design requirements and improvements to increase efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
+ Oversee the administration, maintenance, and support of the Tableau platform, ensuring its availability and performance.
+ Implement and manage system updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain the platform's stability and security.
+ Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Tableau server configurations.
+ Ensure compliance with Cyber Security standards and protocols, conducting regular security audits and assessments.
+ Provide technical support and training to internal and external users, addressing their needs and enhancing their experience with the platform.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Tableau with other systems and data sources.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
+ Stay current with the latest Tableau features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve the platform.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
+ Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams.
+ Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
+ Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
+ Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Extensive experience in Tableau administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
+ Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
+ Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
+ Knowledge of Cyber Security standards and practices.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
+ Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
