Description We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Business Partner to join our team in Northridge, California. This Contract-to-Permanent position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented HR specialist to collaborate closely with management and employees, providing strategic support and driving impactful initiatives. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals to enhance workforce effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on expertise in areas such as employee relations, labor relations, compensation, performance management, and organizational development.

• Partner with specific departments or geographic areas to embed HR strategies and build strong relationships with both management and employees.

• Drive HR initiatives and programs that support organizational objectives and foster employee engagement.

• Advise leaders on HR policies, procedures, and compliance, ensuring adherence to best practices.

• Implement a unified HR delivery model that aligns facility HR processes with broader service area strategies.

• Serve as an operational leader for HR functions, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and priorities.

• Conduct assessments to anticipate HR needs, recommending solutions and developing actionable plans.

• Collaborate with Centers of Expertise (CoE) to leverage specialized resources and deliver integrated HR solutions.

• Act as a change agent, championing new HR initiatives and programs to drive organizational success.

• Support leaders in workforce planning and the development of values-based strategic solutions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of HR or leadership experience, or a minimum of 5 years HR experience without a degree; Master’s degree preferred.

• Demonstrated generalist HR experience or specialization in at least two areas, such as employee relations, compensation, or talent acquisition.

• Proven ability to conduct thorough employee relations investigations.

• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, employment regulations, and Affirmative Action Programs.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

• Preferred qualifications include two years of focused experience in an HR specialty area and HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR.

• Experience with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and ATS platforms is a plus. TalentMatch®
