Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses a strong grasp of accounting principles. You will play a key role in managing financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the business with critical financial insights.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

• Oversee month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Perform general ledger maintenance and ensure all entries comply with accounting standards.

• Reconcile bank accounts and other financial statements to maintain accuracy and integrity.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and analyze financial and sales-related reports.

• Generate detailed financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making and business planning.

• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Work independently and contribute effectively in a small team setting. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting, preferably in small to medium-sized companies.

• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger processes.

• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.

• Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Availability to work on-site five days a week.
