Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis in Cumming, Georgia. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial operations, including overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in accounting systems and financial processes to contribute to a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Handle cash applications and perform detailed bank reconciliations.

• Set up and maintain vendor accounts to ensure seamless financial operations.

• Execute payment runs and monitor transactions for accuracy and timeliness.

• Prepare and post journal entries in alignment with established accounting standards.

• Oversee credit card and bank account management to support organizational needs.

• Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end close activities.

• Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to manage financial data effectively.

• Provide support for ad hoc financial projects and reporting as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger processes.

• Experience with preparing and posting journal entries.

• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
