Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Guilford, Connecticut. This position offers the opportunity to manage the flow of goods and ensure seamless coordination between vendors, factories, and customers in the retail industry. If you excel at organization, communication, and problem-solving, this role will allow you to contribute to product development, quality control, and delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

• Track factory and overseas product purchases using spreadsheets and other tools.

• Oversee product sample reviews and follow-ups to ensure alignment with quality standards.

• Manage quality control processes for product development from inception to delivery.

• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.

• Utilize ERP systems to streamline logistics and operational workflows.

• Monitor shipping schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods.

• Maintain detailed documentation and records for inventory and fixed assets.

• Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries related to logistics and product details.

• Analyze data using Microsoft Excel to optimize processes and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and enterprise resource planning solutions.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Experience with processing purchase orders and managing shipping schedules.

• Knowledge of quality control processes and product development workflows.

• Ability to effectively use business systems and CRM tools.
