The Benefits Specialist assists the Benefits Team in the day-to-day administration of the Company’s

various employee benefits programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Answers general inquiries and provides a high level of customer service to employees regarding benefits and LOA procedures, policies, eligibility rules and regulations

+ Keeps abreast of the Company’s benefits, including policies, eligibility rules, and general regulations

+ Assists with the administration of all health and welfare benefit programs, Leave of Absence administration, and other various benefit programs

+ Proactively identifies and implements workable solutions to issues

+ Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

Minimum Requirements:

+ College degree or equivalent experience in related departments

+ At least two (2) years of benefits administration experience preferred

+ Proven knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably ADP

+ Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, required

+ Working knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to Human Resources/Benefits

+ Ability to keep sensitive employee information confidential

+ Ability to work as an effective team member, including establishing and maintaining positive, professional business relationships with other departments and branch offices

+ Exceptional interpersonal skills

+ Ability to multi-task and work independently within a fast-paced environment

+ Possess a high level of initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision

+ Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making

+ Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

+ ADP Enterprise experience a plus

+ Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills

+ Computer proficiency required

Pay Information:

$23 -$25 per hour + $4,000 annual bonus
