Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting various systems within an automotive manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth operations and safety. The position provides opportunities for learning and development in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

+ Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on machines and around the facility.

+ Collaborate with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.

+ Maintain operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels and meet customer demands.

+ Perform predictive precision maintenance to identify and correct mechanical/electrical defects before machines fail.

+ Troubleshoot and wire 3 phase and single phase motors, run conduit and pull wire throughout the facility.

+ Run wire to and change speeds on variable frequency drives (VFD's).

+ Stick weld and fabricate/repair various machines, parts, and components.

+ Maintain water cooling towers and booster pumps.

+ Change out and oil drive shafts, gears, bearings, etc.

+ Change out hydraulic hoses, pneumatic air cylinders, and valves.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ year experience with predictive or preventative maintenance systems.

+ 1+ year industrial maintenance experience.

+ Basic knowledge of hand/power tools.

+ Experience with pneumatics and mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Understanding of electrical maintenance and 3 phase systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1+ Years PLC troubleshooting (ladder logic).

+ 1+ year(s) electrical troubleshooting experience.

+ 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.

+ Associate's degree or higher in an electrical/mechanical or electro-mechanical field.

+ 2+ years in industrial maintenance.

+ Experience using a multimeter.

+ General computer skills (typing, Microsoft 365, etc.).

Work Environment

The Maintenance Technician will work in various departments throughout the facility, including production and office areas, as well as outdoors. Work may involve heights up to 30ft on crane platforms, requiring the use of hard hats and harnesses. The role requires physical endurance to stand or walk on concrete floors for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks. The shift schedule includes 12-hour shifts with both day and night options.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
