Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you'll assemble, align, and test high-precision optical and electronic equipment. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong technical expierence and a passion for building and troubleshooting advanced systems.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble and test opto-mechanical and electronic systems using engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

+ Perform alignment of cameras and laser scanners to meet quality standards.

+ Load software and PLC programs onto systems.

+ Use standard electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters) to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.

+ Complete quality control documentation for all tested systems.

+ Use hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches) to support assembly and repair tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Associate degree in electronics or equivalent technical training/experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.

+ Hands-on experience with electronic assembly and troubleshooting.

+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with software loading processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Technical certifications (e.g., military electronics training) are a plus.

+ Certification in electronics or related technical field.

+ Experience with optical systems or laser alignment.

+ Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation.

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $57200.00/yr.
