Job Title: Principal LabVIEW Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled LabVIEW Test Engineer to develop a comprehensive LabVIEW test system from initial requirements through to execution. This system is crucial for the testing of four million units of our core product, with the goal of unifying multiple existing test systems onto a single platform. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional experience in developing LabVIEW test systems and a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

+ Develop an entire LabVIEW test system from requirements to execution.

+ Define system requirements directly with customers.

+ Work collaboratively with a team of 8 engineers.

+ Design and implement system tests and self-tests.

+ Create and execute tests using LabVIEW and TestStand.

+ Build functional prototypes utilizing LabVIEW/TestStand.

+ Develop LabVIEW/TestStand architecture and reusable code libraries.

+ Validate and support test systems.

+ Create hardware drivers using class-based methods.

+ Utilize TestStand for test sequencing and automation.

Essential Skills

+ 10+ years of professional experience in developing LabVIEW test systems.

+ Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

+ Proficiency in LabVIEW, C++, and hardware testing programs.

+ Experience in troubleshooting and creating/executing tests.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in defining system requirements with customers.

+ Ability to build prototypes and use LabVIEW/TestStand for development.

+ Experience in designing and implementing both system tests and self-tests.

Work Environment

This position is within an engineering team focused on high-tech hearing aid solutions. The role involves working collaboratively with a team of 8 engineers, utilizing the latest technologies and methodologies to achieve a uniform platform for test systems. The work environment is dynamic and innovative, providing opportunities to work on cutting-edge projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $68.00/hr.
