Looking for a Controls Engineer for Robotics Program with eCommerce Company!
Job Description
Coordinate with controls engineering, hardware engineering, and software engineering teams to develop, implement, test, and debug PLC code for a robotic automation system. Develop automation programs using CodeSys as a development platform, primarily utilizing Structured Text programming language while also supporting other IEC-3 standard programming languages for PLCs.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate with engineering teams for the development and implementation of PLC code for robotic automation systems.
+ Develop automation programs using CodeSys, primarily using Structured Text, and support other IEC-3 standard programming languages.
+ Perform integration of EtherCAT networked servo drives for synchronized motion execution of multi-axis systems with complex motion profiles using CodeSys.
+ Integrate machine I/O devices, including fieldbus devices such as EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and IOLink, using CodeSys.
+ Develop Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications utilizing CodeSys HMI features and Allen-Bradley PanelView.
+ Develop Functional Safety PLC applications using Bosch Rexroth CtrlX Safety controllers integrated with Bosch Rexroth CtrlX servo drives.
+ Employ industry best practices for PLC program development, including variable definition, object-oriented programming, and avoiding race conditions.
+ Integrate and test PLC control systems with external software applications via network interfaces using UDP and/or TCP communications or protocols.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in PLC programming and automation.
+ Experience with CodeSys and Structured Text.
+ Knowledge of EtherCAT and Beckhoff technologies.
+ Troubleshooting skills in robotics.
+ Understanding of controls engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with IEC-3 standard programming.
+ In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting on robots.
+ Experience with advanced robotics and motion plans.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
