Job Description
We are seeking skilled phlebotomists who will be responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. The role involves collecting and receiving biological specimens, accurately entering them into the computer system, preparing samples for analytical testing, and distributing specimens to the appropriate analytical areas. Responsibilities include pre and post aspects of analytical testing and performing specified analytical testing as assigned, while adhering to the Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities
+ Draw and process blood specimens from patients in a doctor's office setting.
+ Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
+ Accurately enter specimens into the computer system.
+ Prepare samples for analytical testing.
+ Distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical areas.
+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
+ Adhere to the Code of Conduct guidelines.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in phlebotomy.
+ Proficiency in blood draw, venipuncture, specimen collection, and specimen processing.
+ Comfortable working independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-3 years prior phlebotomy experience preferred.
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish.
+ GED or high school diploma required.
Work Environment
The phlebotomist will work within an Internal and Family Medicine doctor's office, drawing blood from patients and collaborating closely with Medical Assistants. The position is located at 3303 E Baseline Rd #203, Gilbert, AZ, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
