Job Title: Software Engineer - ENG03
As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating both the user interface and the backend systems for processing and data storage. You will develop solutions for continuous integration and deployment pipelines and ensure scalability to meet demand surges. Your work will involve conducting exploratory data analysis on ISR data, optimizing AI and ML applications, and maintaining data pipelines to streamline OPIR data ingestion. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop scalable data solutions and ensure seamless data movement.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain front-end and back-end systems.
+ Create solutions for CI/CD pipelines and scalability.
+ Conduct exploratory data analysis on ISR data.
+ Design and maintain data pipelines for OPIR data ingestion.
+ Standardize processes and maintain operational metrics.
+ Facilitate data collection and ensure cybersecurity compliance.
+ Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
+ Optimize ELT processes for timely data movement.
+ Manage Linux-based network servers and cloud environments.
+ Troubleshoot security, data recovery, and network infrastructure.
+ Configure and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
+ Identify, analyze, and resolve system issues.
+ Monitor system performance and network security.
+ Implement security policies and conduct routine network procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in process automation and infrastructure monitoring.
+ Proficiency in Java, C++, and Kubernetes.
+ Knowledge of MMTK (Mission Management Tool Kit).
+ Experience in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Perl.
+ Experience in a DevOps role and environment.
+ Existing TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the full software development lifecycle.
+ Prior experience in software functionality design and integration.
+ Ability to work with vendors and contractors to resolve issues.
+ Skills in developing system backup and recovery policies.
+ Ability to ensure data security and integrity.
+ Experience in designing data security and privacy measures.
Work Environment
This role is based off-site at Buckley. The position involves overseeing and maintaining Linux-based network servers, cloud, and virtual environments. The work environment is collaborative, involving cross-functional teams, and focuses on maintaining high security and operational standards.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
