Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience in program or project management.
+ 5 years of experience in an EHS role.
+ 3 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports.
+ Experience working with various cross-functional teams, building stakeholder relationships, and leveraging data to influence decision making.
+ Experience interpreting and applying federal, state and local EHS regulations across the United States.
Preferred qualifications:
+ 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
+ Experience working with vendors on improving their EHS programs and driving their performance plans.
+ Ability to travel as needed.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As a member of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Operations team, you will be responsible for data center operational EHS legal compliance, program implementation, conformance and EHS resource management.
As an Area Manager, you will play a vital role in driving continuous improvement across Google's EHS operations in the North America and South America, Northeast Area and beyond. You will proactively identify, organize, and lead program activities and stakeholders to deliver impactful business, operational, and technical improvements. You will be responsible for scoping, phasing, and leading ambiguous cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges, ensuring alignment of executive stakeholders across various departments. You will also provide additional support and project management oversight to new and critical EHS initiatives to continue to create and iterate our EHS programs. You will manage a team of EHS Program Managers to ensure a consistent and uniform approach to EHS program implementation across the region.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Manage the regional portfolio of EHS initiatives and programs, identifying and evaluating operational risks, designing mitigation, and ensuring compliance for uninterrupted operations, providing EHS support regionally and globally.
+ Develop and implement strategic plans for EHS programs, contributing to global/regional focus areas. Lead a team of EHS Program Managers, supporting and occasionally leading incident investigations to closure.
+ Drive a continuous learning culture to improve efficiency and EHS. Monitor program performance, track metrics, identify improvements, and implement corrective action plans.
+ Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
+ Manage program budget and resources effectively.
