    We are seeking a skilled AWS/ETL Developer to support the design and development of ETL pipelines for a DB2-based data warehouse, enabling robust Cognos reporting capabilities. This role is ideal for a data engineer with strong AWS experience and a passion for building scalable, high-performance data solutions in a collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs to ingest, transform, and load data into a DB2 data warehouse.

    + Leverage AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions) to optimize data workflows.

    + Collaborate with business intelligence teams to gather requirements and structure data for IBM Cognos Analytics.

    + Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies for DB2.

    + Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance tuning of ETL processes.

    + Manage data migration and integration between cloud and on-prem DB2 systems.

    + Automate data workflows using Python, Shell scripting, and AWS tools.

    + Monitor and troubleshoot ETL pipelines for performance and reliability.

    + Implement security, compliance, and data governance best practices.

    Required Qualifications

    + 5+ years of experience in ETL development, data engineering, and data warehousing.

    + Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, RDS, Redshift, etc.).

    + Expertise in DB2 development, including SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

    + Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting for automation.

    + Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics and understanding of reporting structures.

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    + Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    + Experience in Medicaid or Healthcare Plan environments.

    + Knowledge of DB2 on AWS Cloud.

    + AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
