    Job Description:

    This job is responsible for completion of standard operations processes related to consumer credit disputes, escalations and tax reporting. Key responsibilities include data entry, reporting data validation, case investigation, reconciliation requests, and client inquiry workflows. Job expectations include supporting standard transaction processing, reconciliation, and resolution of research requests to clients, consumer reporting agencies and taxing authorities, while following established written procedures under moderate supervision.

     

    Consumer and Wealth Tax Operations Statement Team is responsible for the production of ~4,250,000 tax reporting statements and forms. Responsbilities include but are not limited researching, resolving and validating the integrity of tax entries and tax income data housed on the tax reporting database. This data is then used to produce our tax statements and reported to the IRS, Puerto Rico, and various states. This will include daily, monthly and annual report validation for numerous internal processes. Weekend/Weekday overtime is required when necessary and especially during tax season, January through April.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Validate data and reports against tax database

    • Review tax statements and forms to identify and resolve issues

    • Support team process functions

    • Research and reply to reporting inquiries from Branch Office

    Responsibilities:

    + Performs standard activities supporting credit disputes, escalations and tax reporting while following established written procedures and guidelines and ensuring accurate and timely delivery

    + Performs basic research, follow-up, and resolution of routine financial data research requests

    + Reviews relevant documents and forms to identify and resolve issues

    + Validates financial data and reports against system of record

    + Identifies potential issues in daily operational tasks and escalates risk concerns, as appropriate

    + Provides quality service and support to internal partners and external clients

    Required Skills:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Team player who is self-directed and detail oriented

    • Ability to work cooperatively with various levels of associates (i.e.: operations, technology, peers, management, etc.) and embrace change with a positive approach

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)

    Desired Skills:
