    Electrical Administrator (AD01) – Low Voltage / Access Control Projects

    **Location:** Remote (WA-based preferred) | Travel: Up to 20%

    **Compensation:** $75,000 – $100,000 per year (DOE, negotiable)

    About the Role:

    We’re hiring a **Washington State–licensed Electrical Administrator (AD01)** to support our growing portfolio of low-voltage access control installations in multi-family dwellings (MDUs) across the state. These smart systems enable secure Amazon deliveries and resident access automation.

     

    This is a **compliance and oversight role** —not a hands-on installation position. You’ll serve as the **Qualifying Electrician on record** , responsible for permitting, inspections, and ensuring all projects meet Washington State L&I electrical requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Serve as the Qualifying Electrician for low-voltage (limited energy) projects

    + Pull permits and coordinate with local jurisdictions and inspectors

    + Ensure compliance with Washington electrical codes (NFPA 70, WAC 296-46B)

    + Provide technical documentation, design input, and oversight

    + Support and advise internal teams and subcontractors

    + Travel occasionally (~20%) to job sites for inspections or consultations

    Qualifications:

    + **Active WA AD01 (General Electrical Administrator license)** — _required_

    + **EL06 (Limited Energy Systems)** or **EL01 (General Journey Level)** license

    + Experience with **low-voltage/limited energy systems**

    + Familiarity with MDU access control platforms (e.g., Kamtech, LiftMaster, Amazon Key, ButterflyMX, Gatemotor)

    + Based in WA preferred but not required; multi-state licensing a plus

    + Strong understanding of permitting, code compliance, and electrical oversight
