The role you’ll contribute:

Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

+ Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by a Registered Nurse.

+ Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members.

+ Assists care team in achieving daily patient and family goals.

+ Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

_Required qualifications:_

+ **_High School Diploma or GED required within 1 year of hire_**

+ **State registered CNA**

+ **Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association**

_Preferred qualifications:_

+ **_Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program_**

+ **_Six months previous CNA experience_**

+ **_Previous customer service experience_**

+ **_Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds_**
