The **Information Technology (IT) Project Specialist** administers and organizes all types of projects activities from a simple request at initiation to more complex project plans for the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. Supports IT Project/Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Director with project request intake, portfolio documentation and IT Project Managers with coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, tools/templates and information; liaising with project stakeholders to identify and define project scope, objectives and risks; and ensuring that stakeholders' needs are met as the project evolves.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and can require being onsite anywhere up to 25% at any Hackensack Meridian Health location as needed.
**Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required** :
+ Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field; and/or a Minimum of 5+ years of experience relevant to the responsibilities of this position.
+ Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar position.
+ Intermediate to advanced skills with Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms, etc.) and/or the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
+ Experience in project management activities from conception to delivery.
+ Ability to respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees of the organization.
+ Must have the ability to communicate complex technical information in an easy-to-understand way.
+ Understands competing priorities, effectively manages simultaneously occurring intake/project activities or tasks and adapts to the dynamic needs of the department.
+ Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
+ Strong client-facing interpersonal and teamwork skills.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities.
+ Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to effectively prepare clear presentations based on direction.
**Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred** :
+ Hands-on experience with project management tools.
+ Project Management training/education.
+ Experience supporting different project activities throughout a project lifecycle.
+ Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
+ Knowledge in ServiceNow.
+ An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business communications, professional journals, or technical procedures.
**Licenses and Certifications Preferred** :
+ Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

Starting at $72,072.00 Annually
