The GTF Component Repair Industrialization Manager is responsible for increasing GTF repair capability globally across multiple repair suppliers (DSPs) & engine center Disassembly, Assembly and Test (DAT) backshops to meet increasing repair demand. This position requires communication across multiple PW organizations, domestic and international customers as well as senior PW leadership. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to drive results as well as evolve the team & processes to achieve objectives in a very visible, challenging & dynamic setting.
What you will do:
+ Execute the Repair Industrialization plan across the GTF Global AMO Network to mitigate critical OEM part shortages and reduce cost
+ Manage a team of Repair Industrialization Project Managers (includes 2 seconded employees from international Pratt & Whitney partner locations.) Responsible for employee development and coaching for continued career growth
+ Ensure data integrity for all DSP/DAT industrialization plans / target completion dates
+ Align and prioritize resources / DSPs to support critical repair activity / initiatives
+ Communicate AMO Industrial status to senior leadership / influence business decisions
+ Develop and lead efforts/solutions to solve complex industrialization challenges (coatings, flange replacements, etc)
+ Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives that establish and document applicable standard work & gated processes
+ Ensure alignment and clear communication across all departments including Engineering, Supplier Sourcing, Material Planning
+ Establish yearly alignment plan with key stakeholders
+ Provide strategic guidance as needed to assist network DSP/DAT repair facilities with new repair development
+ Execute engine center (DAT) backshop strategy
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ A Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience to include employee management, engineering processes, operations, and/or production management experience or an Advanced degree and 10 years of experience to include engineering process, operational, and/or production management experience (in a production facility)
+ Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10-15%)
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
+ Experience working with minimal supervision, works well with teammates and customers, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success
+ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills
+ Ability to translate functional, tactical actions and decisions into broad business impact
+ Knowledge of working across business areas and interface at all levels of organization
+ Previous experience in MRO, specifically a FAR 145 Repair Station
+ Demonstrated experience leveraging strong operational background, leveraging internal customer focus, relationship development and communication skills for continuous improvement, business and team success
+ Ability to multitask; well-organized and work well under pressure
+ Strong understanding of jet engine components, repair processes, and regulatory requirements

This role is:
**Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
