Job Summary
As a Software Engineer within the Atrius organization in **Acuity Intelligent Spaces** (AIS), you will bring your passion for full-stack development to design, build, deploy, and maintain highly available distributed cloud applications.
In this role, you will be developing software for the growth of our Internet-of-Things (IoT) driven applications with a focus on the development of cloud tools that provide our customers with centralized monitoring and control of their built space. The tech stack is .NET with React in an Azure cloud platform.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
+ Write well-designed and testable code
+ Design and implement scalable software systems
+ Collaborate to design, implement, and maintain new features
+ Work with our project management team to identify, analyze, and fix bugs
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
+ Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
+ 2+ years of software development experience
+ Experience with .Net
+ Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs, including high-performance client implementations
+ Working knowledge of React (or equivalent framework)
+ Experience developing and deploying applications in a cloud environment (Azure preferred)
+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and concepts
+ Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit tests
+ Experience with development tools like: Node.js, Yarn, git, Figma, etc.
+ Ability to learn on the job and explore modern technologies with little supervision
+ Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum, you’ve been on teams that practice Agile, and you understand why it’s beneficial
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
+ Experience with remote work environments
+ Good knowledge of scripting languages
+ Experience with building management concepts
+ Experience working with IoT networks
