    Job Summary

    As the **Executive Medical Director** you will be the driving force behind our thought leadership and provider engagement strategy. This role is pivotal in ensuring our healthcare solutions remain at the forefront of clinical excellence, aligning our products with the highest medical standards while championing our brand across the healthcare community.

     

    As the **face of our product suite** , you will serve as a trusted **Key Opinion Leader (KOL)** , fostering relationships with healthcare providers, professional societies, and industry stakeholders to elevate our influence and market leadership. Your thought leadership will extend through published research, industry conferences, and advisory engagements, solidifying our company as the leader in our segment.

     

    You will also play a **critical role in strategy** , ensuring that our software aligns with real-world clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and evolving best medical practices. This position requires a highly respected clinician with a strong presence in the industry, a passion for medical informatics, and the ability to engage with customers, industry leaders, and internal teams to shape the future of healthcare.

    Key Responsibilities

    Thought Leadership & Industry Influence

    + **Position the company as a leader in healthcare solutions** by shaping industry discussions through white papers, research publications, blog articles, and conference presentations.

    + **Engage with leading medical societies** (e.g., ACG, ASGE, AGA, AFS, GIQuIC) to ensure Provation is aligned with evolving clinical guidelines, quality measures, and best practices for different specialties

    + **Act as a key spokesperson and subject matter expert** at industry conferences, advisory boards, professional societies and healthcare summits to strengthen credibility and drive market influence. Represent Provation at key conferences, expert panels, and advisory boards and build KOL .

    + **Contribute to peer-reviewed journals, abstracts, and publications** to reinforce our thought leadership and innovation in healthcare technology.

    + **Develop and maintain strategic relationships with KOLs, clinicians, and hospital executives** to build influence, strengthen clinical relationships, and drive product adoption and market penetration.

    + **Lead thought leadership content** with marketing to reinforce Provation's voice in the GI community.

    + Global travelling 30-50%

    Customer & Market Engagement

    + Promote Provation as **a critical enabler of collaboration among physicians** across the U.S., supporting clinical research, education, quality tracking, fellows training and best-practice sharing.

    + **Actively engage with customers and prospects** as a **trusted advisor** , helping hospitals and providers understand how our solutions improve outcomes and efficiency.

    + **Lead annual Fellows Training at top academic centers** , showcasing new Apex features and fostering collaboration with faculty for feedback and innovation.

    + **Support Sales & Customer Success teams** by providing expert-led product demonstrations, workflow discussions, and clinical strategic insights.

    + **Serve as a direct resource for high-value customers** , influencing product adoption and long-term partnership strategies. Engages virtually and onsite to support customer success, address medical content inquiries, and gather feedback for product improvement.

    Clinical Product Insights

    + As clinical leader, **provide strategic oversight** for product strategy and development, ensuring our solutions align with emerging technologies, evolving medical practices, regulatory requirements, and provider needs. Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Medical Content teams to ensure workflows align with real-world needs.

    + **Guide the development insights** to support providers, improve patient outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency.

    + **Act as a bridge between clinical providers and our product teams** , advocating for real-world workflows, clinical pain points, and usability improvements.

    + **Advise on healthcare best practices** , staying ahead of changes in emerging technology adoption in healthcare, provide workflows, healthcare policies, regulatory and compliance, reimbursement models, and quality standards.

     

    Qualifications & Experience

    Required

    + MD or DO degree with 10+ years of clinical experience in the US healthcare system.

    + Recognized KOL in the industry with a track record of published research, thought leadership, and active participation in medical societies.

    + Deep understanding and proven leadership in AI/ML concepts and applications in healthcare, and AI-driven clinical decision support solutions

    + Proven experience engaging with key stakeholders, including hospital executives, clinical leaders, and regulatory bodies.

    + Experience in medical informatics, clinical workflow optimization, and digital transformation in healthcare.

    + Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and their impact on provider efficiency and patient outcomes.

    + Board Certification in Gastroenterology

    Preferred

    + Advanced training or certification in Medical Informatics.

    + Experience with health system regulatory compliance (CMS, Joint Commission, AAAHC).

    + Familiarity with standardized clinical terminologies (SNOMED-CT, ICD-10, LOINC, RxNorm, etc.).

    + Experience with AI-driven healthcare solutions and predictive analytics.
