    Job Summary

    The IT Solutions Architect provides technical guidance for data migration, developing architecture blueprints and leading transformation solutions aligned with business objectives. This role involves analyzing business processes, recommending improvements, and overseeing hardware and software evaluations while maintaining a current portfolio of solutions. The IT Solutions Architect must demonstrate strong technical expertise, strategic implementation, and communication skills to ensure successful project outcomes and support organizational growth.

    Role Description

    •Define end-to-end architecture for M365/Power Platform, Azure IaaS/PaaS, and SaaS applications.

    • Lead transformation solutions that align with business objectives and best practices.

    • Engage with various organizational levels to gather insights and understand the environment.

    • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements based on industry trends and knowledge.

    • Develop cross-functional strategies and solutions that translate business objectives into phased solutions.

    • Oversee the evaluation and selection of hardware and software standards.

    • Provide technology and architecture recommendations based on business relevance and deployment timing.

    • Maintain and update the portfolio, retiring legacy solutions and technologies.

    • Stay current with new technologies and frameworks, recommending new partners or solution components.

    Skill Level Requirements

    • Deep and demonstrable understanding of cloud platforms, their core services. Ability to define end-to-end architecture for M365/Power Platform, Azure PaaS, SaaS and IaaS applications.

    • Significant experience architecting and implementing infrastructure solutions with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and security.

    • Core Development Skills: Python, SQL, JSON, REST API, Power BI, Power Platform, GitHub (including Actions), Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.

    • Proficiency in ensuring API scalability, reliability, availability, security, and governance.

    • Skilled in using diagramming tools like Visio and LucidChart.

    • Ability to recommend solutions, draft technical specifications, and present effectively to collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams.

    • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, combined with self-motivation and a commitment to quality and success.

    • Capability to convert goals and strategies into effective business solutions.

    Other Requirements

    • Completed Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or relevant work experience is required.

    • 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture or software engineering.

    • 5+ years of experience with application development and modernization.

    The estimated annual pay range for this position is $130,000 - $200,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
