    The V2X Company is growing and looking for a Data Analyst to join our Mobile Sensors program team!

     

    The V2X Mobile Sensors program performs Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Sustainment requirements for the COBRA KING radar and communication systems onboard the USNS Howard O. Lorenzen. These systems are tasked to primarily operate in the Pacific Command's (PACOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Our program ensures the COBRA KING (CK) radar and communication systems are Fully Mission Capable (FMC) 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, and capable of supporting mission operations on short-notice.

     

    The Mobile Sensors Management Office (MSMO) is seeking a Data Analyst to join our engineering team. This role will focus on transforming operational data into actionable insights using tools such as MATLAB, Power BI, and SQL-based systems. The position is ideal for recent graduates with a strong technical foundation who are looking to grow in a structured, engineering-driven environment. This role is located at Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB), FL, and supports engineering and sustainment operations for the COBRA KING radar program.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

    + Analyze large datasets to extract insights that support engineering and operations decision-making

    + Use MATLAB extensively for data modeling, simulation, signal analysis, and custom tool development

    + Support creation and maintenance of internal Power BI dashboards and visual reports

    + Write and maintain SQL queries and scripts for extracting and transforming data from internal databases

    + Assist in maintaining documentation, including data dictionaries, query libraries, and tool usage guides

    + Support the design, testing, and deployment of new data tools and scripts for automation and performance analysis

    + Work closely with engineering and technical teams to understand data needs and validate output accuracy

    + Participate in internal briefings and discussions to present findings and demonstrate new tools

    + Additional job duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications:

    + Strong proficiency with MATLAB (academic or project-based experience acceptable)

    + Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle)

    + Exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI or similar

    + Basic understanding of data analysis workflows, including ETL concepts and automation scripting

    + Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python or C is a plus

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    + Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal technical discussions

    Education Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline
