How You’ll Make an Impact as a Business Analyst – IT

The Business Analyst ensures data and information meets the highest standard of quality and integrity through data extraction, mapping, validation, and governance. This is a key role requiring working with large volumes of data, attention to detail and ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Making an Impact:

• Create reports and data extracts from variety of systems

• Map raw data from source to target into standardized data model

• Work with internal and external teams to ensure integrity of data

• Research data issues and provide recommendations on solutions.

• Document requirements, processes and procedures where needed

Sharing Expertise:

• Act as liaison between technical and non-technical resources

• Partner with internal and external teams to execute new client implementations

• Attend client facing meeting to understand data requirements

Gaining Exposure:

• With direction from the Business Analyst manager work on cross-functional projects

• Crosstrain on variety of tools, systems and platforms

Your Typical Day:

• Review current projects, tasks and priorities and manage to ensure on-time delivery

• Confer with team members on status updates and provide support where needed.

• Attend meeting on current and new projects

• Perform testing for new releases

• Design and development of data reports and extracts

• Data mapping

• Data validation

• Miscellaneous tasks as required

What you’ll bring with you
