Program Coordinators are Royell’s primary customer focal. Each coordinator is responsible for one or more customers and accomplish the following: Evaluating new and revised purchase orders for acceptance, creating and placing purchase orders for raw material and standards, ensuring that manufacturing has the necessary work orders and documentation for efficient and timely production, develop and maintain production schedules, creating and placing purchase orders for out plant processing, develop, monitor and communicate planned and expedited delivery schedules with the customer. Must be able to work independently with minimal technical instruction.
Requirements Essential Functions
1. Professionally communicate with customers while resolving problems, informing them of production status, and serving as the company’s first point of contact for issues that come up.
2. Effectively communicate with customers regarding new and revised purchase order schedules. This includes making sure that raw material is available, accepting the delivery dates, and developing expedited delivery plans as requested by the customer.
3. Proficient using MRPII, Middleware (hand-helds), Excel, and other reports to execute daily workload. Validate new and revised customers purchase orders for acceptance, which includes raw material requirements, machine capacity, and lead time and completing customer status reports.
4. Issue purchase orders for raw material and purchased standard using established pricing.
5. Plan and issue work orders and flow them into the production schedule.
6. Issue offloaded machining and outside processing purchase orders using established pricing. Coordinating and following-up with suppliers regarding delivery schedules.
7. Must work closely with manufacturing in a collaborative environment to schedule production in order to meet customer commitments.
8. Effectively develop project plans and communicate their progress to customers, ensuring that we are on schedule. This requires multi-discipline coordination between estimating, buying, planning, programming, tooling, and production.
9. Develop and monitor detailed milestone charts as necessary for recovery planning and status.
10. Able to preside over production meetings ensuring that issues delaying on time delivery are resolved and action plans are effectively communicated.
11. Responsible for tracking on time delivery performance.
12. Must regularly maintain good attendance per policy each attendance year.
13. Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proficient using PC applications and software, such as: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, PROMAN, and Acrobat.
Desirable Qualifications
1. Experience implementing lean manufacturing, blueprint reading, and aerospace production.
