Job Summary and Qualifications

The **Information Analyst** will leverage existing data, uncover data gaps and problem solve to improve overall data quality within our Item and Vendor Master. The goal will be achieved by working with cross-functional business teams and performing root cause analysis on data issues and either submitting incident tickets to IT requesting incident resolution or a change request for a modification or in the system causing the data inconsistency.

The role will collaborate with GPO Operations, Supply Chain, Financial, BI/Analytics and contract portfolio teams to understand data needs, identity, and fix master data related quality issues.

Responsibilities include:

+ Support Senior Analyst and Supervisor, Item and Vendor Data Management in any quality clean-up projects as assigned

+ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and update in the system while fostering a positive working environment with the appropriate organizational units.

+ Proactively seeks out potential data integrity issues and reconciles appropriately, mitigating the risk of downstream system and business stakeholders.

+ Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

+ Define and manage project requirements by identifying project milestones, track tasks, escalate risk/issues and communicate status to leadership.

+ Evaluate opportunities to improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of processes and outcomes.

+ Ability to quickly understand current business challenges and recommend opportunities to streamline processes.

What you need for the role:

+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred or applicable experience required

+ Minimum 1-3 years’ work experience in Hospital Supply Chain, Data, or Financial Analyst

+ Experience in Supply Chain (Medical/Surgical data, Medical Devices) or Healthcare

+ Industry data recommended.

+ Experience in Supply Chain or Data Management in a healthcare or corporate setting is preferred.

+ Exposure and familiarity with multiple technology platforms a plus
