Roseann Mabry from Robert Half is placing a Human Resource Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Jefferson, Missouri. The direct hire position will be for a Human Resource Assistant that will report to a CHRO on a day to day basis helping with data entry into their HRIS systems, assisting with implementation of the ADP program, processing paperwork for for FMLA and COBRA on a timely basis, as well as handling questions from the employees that are benefit related. This is a newly created position for a team of 5 HR Professionals. The company has an excellent benefit package and is working a Summer schedule of 4 work days with Friday's off . Responsibilities:
• Enter and maintain accurate employee data in HR systems, ensuring compliance and consistency.
• Assist in the implementation and administration of employee benefits programs, including communication and documentation.
• Process paperwork related to FMLA, COBRA, and other compliance requirements in a timely and organized manner.
• Provide prompt and detail-oriented responses to employee questions regarding benefits and HR policies.
• Support auditing tasks to ensure accuracy in HR records and data.
• Conduct background checks and assist with onboarding processes for new hires.
• Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee information and generate reports as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance HR processes and ensure effective service delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies in all HR-related activities.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now and other HRIS systems.
• Strong knowledge of benefits administration, including FMLA and COBRA regulations.
• Experience conducting background checks and managing compliance paperwork.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle employee inquiries effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and auditing skills.
• Familiarity with HR processes and programs, including benefits and compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality in all HR activities. TalentMatch®
