Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join their team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial statement analysis, credit evaluation, and commercial collections, contributing to the success of our wholesale distribution operations. This role requires collaborative communication with both clients and internal departments to ensure accurate reporting and payment processing.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements to assess creditworthiness and evaluate risk.

• Manage commercial collections by following up with clients and resolving outstanding balances.

• Prepare detailed reports on collection activities and account statuses.

• Process and post payments accurately in accordance with company policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline credit and collection workflows.

• Maintain and update credit applications to ensure compliance with organizational standards.

• Utilize accounting software systems, ERP, and CRM tools to manage accounts receivable and credit operations.

• Monitor accounts receivable balances and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve the efficiency of credit evaluation processes.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis or a related role.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ERP and CRM tools.

• Solid understanding of accounts receivable and collection processes.

• Strong analytical skills for financial statement review and credit evaluation.

• Experience with 3M and ADP financial services systems is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.

• Ability to produce accurate reports and manage payment processing.

• Familiarity with credit application procedures and compliance standards.
