    Duties Description The New York State Senate is seeking a motivated and responsible individual to fill the position of Maintenance Worker in the Maintenance & Operations department.The Maintenance Worker’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:•Delivering and changing water bottles in Senate offices, as needed•Set-up and break down of events•Open, clean, and lock conference rooms, as scheduled•Deliver furniture to District Offices, Senate Offices, and other Senate offices in and outside of Albany•Pick-up and drop-off items from vendors, as requested•Help caterers in and out of the building for events•Other duties as requested by the Director of Senate Maintenance and Operations

     

    Minimum Qualifications Minimum requirements:•A high school diploma or GED•A clean driving record•Ability to lift over 50 lbs

     

    Additional Comments This is a full-time position based in Albany, Monday through Friday. The salary range is $30,000 to $36,000, commensurate with experience.
