ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled GIS Analyst with expertise in creating and maintaining spatial data to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in the use of GIS software, and have a deep understanding of real estate terminology and urban planning principles. If you are passionate about GIS and its many uses within real estate, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ **GIS Data Maintenance:**
+ Use GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS) to edit and maintain geospatial data assets for CoStar’s real estate research and analytics products.
+ Acquire and analyze geospatial data from external vendors and incorporate into our platforms.
+ **Project Support & Collaboration:**
+ Participate in project teams to ensure GIS deliverables meet technical specifications and deadlines.
+ Use GIS software to create and maintain maps and other visuals for use in collaboration and sharing information with other teams.
+ **Quality Control:**
+ Conduct individual quality control and quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's degree in Geography, Urban Planning, GIS, or a related field.
+ Proven experience (typically 2 - 4 years) in GIS, preferably within the real estate industry.
+ Proficiency in GIS software, specifically creating and editing data using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
+ Ability to work independently and manage projects with varying deadlines.
+ Knowledge of cartographic principles and spatial data management tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Experience working with relational databases, such as Sql, and in editing in a multi-user, versioned database environment.
+ Familiarity with remote sensing technologies and techniques.
+ Familiarity with global administrative geographies and different types of real estate data.
