Description
The IT Support Technician will assist employees with printers, basic EMR and Exchange, account set up and password resets, printers, Windows OS, configuration and troubleshooting of mobile devices including Android smartphones and tablets, and MS Office guidance
This is meant to be a general description of the most essential functions of this role. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Manages all daily information systems operations, serving as the point of contact for troubleshooting information systems user issues.
+ Troubleshoots and researches issues independently, appropriately using information systems vendor technical support teams.
+ Manages service requests, ensuring issues are properly prioritized and addressed in a timely manner. Follows up and communicates with all involved stakeholders.
+ Assists in the management and administration of user access to the company network, electronic medical record system, and email system.
+ Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of information systems and serves as a resource for organization information systems users.
+ Protects the confidentiality of information contained within the information systems through effective user controls, system auditing, and direct supervision of information systems operations.
+ Position requires after-hours and weekend support.
+ Maintains database for computer and phone equipment.
+ Contribute to the analysis of all information technology systems, including procedures, training, and consulting with users.
+ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
+ Travel may be required.
+ Responsible for maintaining compliance with all HIPAA regulations and requirements. Treats all patient information as confidential and utilizes protected health information on a minimum necessary basis.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred.
+ At least one year of experience in health care information systems preferred.
+ Ability to pass DHS background study.
+ If Driving: Valid State Driver’s License, automobile in good working order, automobile insurance in accordance with state and organizational requirements, and an acceptable driving record required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
+ Hardware experience required to place hardware into production by establishing connections and entering necessary commands.
+ Ability to use DIY or Construction tools such as drills, ladders, fasteners. These are frequently used when setting up branches that require mounting heavy equipment to walls.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds required.
+ Demonstrated ability to instruct professional and administrative personnel.
+ Displays effective communication skills.
+ Proficient in the English language. Able to read, speak, and write English in a clear and concise manner required.
The starting salary range for this role is $24.00-$27.00/hour. This range is a good faith estimate; we may pay more or less than the posted range, and this range may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
