Summary/Objective
Coordinate operations for the location by ensuring that all staffing and vehicle requirements are met on a day-to-day basis.
Perform customer service duties by assisting parents and school staff with transportation questions and issues. Pay is $32k-$36k depending on experience.
RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Responsible for supervising the driver workforce and coordinating the daily Operations (drivers, routing, and vehicle activities) to assure excellent service and customer satisfaction. Maintain the highest level of ethical behavior with our customers, fellow employees and the communities we serve.
2. Routing and dispatching.
3. Back up driver in emergency situations.
4. Manage employee and customer complaints.
5. Supervise compliance of DS Bus policies and administer counseling and written warnings. Recommend employee terminations and discipline actions to the General Manager.
6. Coordinate bus cleanings and monitor interior cleanliness.
7. Prepare accurate information for timely reporting.

Work Environment
Modern office procedures, practices and computer equipment and programs.
Required Education and Experience
Working knowledge of two-way radio equipment operation and dispatching devices preferred. Appropriate dispatching policies and practices, or ability to learn within a reasonable amount of time. High school diploma or equivalent. CDL license with appropriate endorsements and state certificates required. (In-house training provided.) Computer literacy, preferably in MS Office products. Customer service and management skills needed. Excellent written and oral communications ability required with the ability to speak in front of a group.
