Responsibilities Provides daily direction, oversight and technical expertise for the development and execution of initiatives for a Revenue Generating program (Club) as well as the associated management and resource support functions. Develops pricing policy and price lists for catering events; ensures proper billings for events; explains and justifies charges to clients. Oversees the development, coordination, implementation and reporting of management and operational metrics. Arranges food transport, set up rooms, provide service and clean areas after events; helps developing sophisticated menus and bar services; recommends refinements for catered events (floral arrangements, table settings, etc.) Coordinates the formulation, justification, and execution of NAF operating budget which includes analytical responsibility for determining/budgeting requirements and dealing with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service for all NAF funding. Works to ensure organizational performance goals are accomplished and aligned with strategic direction and operational plans. Establishes immediate and long range goals, objectives and ensures program authority and funding are accomplished. Manages functions and operations of activities. Supervises assigned staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. Demonstrated work experience in the following areas: Interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems. Interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results. Working in various Child and Youth, Sports/Fitness, Recreation, and Revenue Generating programs demonstrating increasingly responsible work experience across multiple program areas. Understanding of Army's Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) and community, family support operating programs and their interrelationships and funding channels. Prior supervisory experience. HIGHLY PREFERRED are applicants who possess the minimum qualifications above AND: Work experience at Garrison or Division level as an NF-03 or NF-04 Business/Program Manager for at least 2 of the past 5 years. *The experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered a highly preferred candidate. **Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. PCS Costs: Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials: This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances and Differentials: Overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
