Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic – Mining Industry Direct Hire

Position Overview:

Aerotek is hiring **Diesel Mechanics** for a reputable company In Idaho. This is a **direct hire, permanent position** offering competitive pay, benefits, and long-term career growth. Ideal candidates will have experience with diesel engines, heavy equipment maintenance, and hydraulic and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform routine and non-routine inspections and maintenance on company vehicles and heavy equipment.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.

+ Safely operate and maintain equipment such as haul trucks, graders, dozers, tractors, forklifts, and light vehicles.

+ Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brakes, transmissions, and other mechanical systems.

+ Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including suspension repairs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

+ Solid knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues.

+ Experience as a diesel mechanic and with heavy equipment maintenance preferred.

+ Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus.

+ Associate degree or certificate in Automotive or Diesel Technology preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
