    WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

    WORK HOURS: Full time for 40 hrs. per week. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; On-Call requirements and must live within a 30 minute drive

    DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

    * Level 1 Trauma; Certified Stroke Center

    * 4 Procedure Rooms

    HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

    * Associate Degree, applied science required or

    * Completion of accredited program or radiology technology required or

    * High School Diploma plus 2 years work experience in special procedures required.

    * 1 Year vascular or cardiac angiography Preferred OR

    * 2 Years required with high school diploma Required

    * ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire required or

    * RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist upon required or

    * RCES – Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist upon hire or

    * CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT upon hire and

    * BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    * Imaging Quality and Processing:

    * Identifies, troubleshoots, and initiates quality improvement.

    * Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.

    * Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.

    * Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.

    * Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.

    * Performs assignments deemed necessary by supervisor.
