    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and pulling products in the warehouse, as well as case picking products. You will work in various temperature environments, including dry areas, coolers at 34 degrees, and freezers at -10 degrees. Flexibility to move between different areas of the warehouse is essential, and you will be operating a stand-up forklift, requiring previous experience. You should also be comfortable lifting weights of 25-30 pounds.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload products in the warehouse using a stand-up forklift.

    + Pull and case pick products efficiently.

    + Work in varying temperature environments, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas.

    + Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.

    + Lift items weighing between 25-30 pounds.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift.

    + Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse setting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Comfort with working in varying temperature environments.

    + Ability to lift 25-30 pounds.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment consists of a 450,000 square foot building with a small crew on the second shift, comprising 5 members on the dry side and 5 on the cold side. All team members operate forklifts, and you'll be using Yale equipment. The organization collaborates with end customers such as Darden, McDonald's, and Blazing, offering a dynamic and engaging work setting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.75/hr.
