    Job Title: Production Associate

    Job Description

    As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for preparing raw materials from staging to weighing and operating processing equipment in accordance with process instructions and procedures. You will monitor equipment to ensure processes run at desired rates, perform initial testing and release of products to check for deviations, and ensure correct labeling following existing rules and instructions. Packaging final products according to instructions and quality standards is part of your duties, along with maintaining compliance with expected Quality Standards and Operating procedures while respecting legal and company EHS rules.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare raw materials from staging to weighing.

    + Operate processing equipment following process instructions and procedures.

    + Monitor equipment to maintain desired run rates.

    + Conduct initial testing and release of products, ensuring no deviations.

    + Ensure correct labeling and packaging according to standards.

    + Maintain compliance with Quality Standards and Operating procedures.

    + Responsible for housekeeping in assigned areas.

    + Perform additional duties as requested by Production Manager/Supervisor.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine operation within manufacturing.

    + Hardworking, dependable, and open to cross-training.

    + General labor and packaging skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic educational degree, high school diploma, or general education diploma.

    + Knowledge of common software programs like MS Office.

    + Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.

    + Availability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.

    + Minimum 1 year experience in an industrial environment.

    + Experince in plastics machine operation.

    + Ability to be cross-trained to operate all production process equipment.

    This is a Contract position based out of Tucker, Georgia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
