    It's an exciting time to join our team, **and we're hiring for a full-time Associate Accountant** at our New Richmond, WI location. This role will primarily focus on accounts payable and general ledger activities, while also serving as a backup for accounts receivable. **The hours for this position are during core business hours, 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday.**

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    Accounts Payable (AP):

    + Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals

    + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

    + Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies

    + Assist with 1099 preparation and year-end reporting

    General Ledger (GL):

    + Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

    + Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation

    + Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts

    + Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation

    Other Duties:

    + Assist with expense report processing and employee reimbursements

    + Assist with coding and processing of company credit cards

    + Back up Accounts Payable

    + Participate in process improvement initiatives

    + Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience:

    + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    + 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting

    + Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NewSuite, SAP)

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team
