Qualifications
Education:
+ Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Licensure:
+ Current Montana COTA license, or eligible to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Experience:
+ Minimum of three (3) years of therapy assistant experience preferred.
Certifications:
+ Current CPR certification, as applicable.
Skills:
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
+ Professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential situations.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn EMR and other software systems.
What You’ll Do
+ Deliver effective and compassionate therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
+ Assist in developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
+ Perform therapeutic techniques appropriate to the patient’s age, condition, and cultural needs.
+ Document patient progress accurately in accordance with payer and therapy standards.
+ Collaborate with the care team and leadership on patient outcomes and discharge planning.
+ Maintain timely, clear documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
+ Uphold productivity standards and ensure patient safety at all times.
+ Contribute to a supportive, team-based care environment.
+ Additional duties may be assigned based on departmental needs.

Shift:
Day Shift - Variable Hours (United States of America)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. This is a day shift. Hours typically are between 8am and 5pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional rotating weekend shifts will be required.
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
