Join Jack Link's as an Associate Region Manager to manage all activities in an assigned sales region to include direct/indirect accounts as well as managing our broker network. The goal of this critical role is to maximize sales and profits of Jack Link’s products within the Convenience Class of Trade. The territory for this role will be Southern California. The incumbent will work remotely from within the territory.
+ Establish, develop, and own business relationships
+ Manage sales territory results and performance through Power BI
+ Engage regularly with direct/indirect customers via in-person sales calls/Teams
+ Present to existing and prospective customers
+ Create and manage customer sales plans for existing brokers and customers ensuring all Link Snack’s DSMP guidelines are implemented
+ Manage/Ownership of internal Trade Funding Tool
+ Build business reviews and sales presentations for use with brokers, retailers, and distributor customers
+ Evaluate broker performance to ensure Jack Link's products are being appropriately represented to achieve sales, DMSP and trade spending goals
+ Keep current with products, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends
+ Deliver sales goals, trade spending and gross profit goals within the assigned territory
+ Plan, execute, and sell in at customer trade shows
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 1+ year of sales related experience
Preferred:
+ Experience working with wholesalers, distributors, and c-store customers
+ Knowledge of the sales district/market and familiarity with direct and indirect customers
+ Location: Southern California Region
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
+ Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
+ Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
+ Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications
+ Valid driver’s license/Insurable driving record.
+ Extensive travel required, to include weekends
The salary range for this role is $76,500 - $105,160 (Annually). Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
