**Harborview Medical Center's Chest Clinic** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Part-time Days Patient Services Specialist, (job profile: Patient Services Specialist 3)** .

+ Opportunity to provide career growth **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** The Chest Clinic at Harborview cares for patients with respiratory diseases such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, asbestosis, emphysema, sarcoidosis, pulmonary fibrosis, cavitary lung disease, bronchiectasis, occupational lung disease and pleural effusions.We also provide smoking cessation assistance, pulmonary function testing, fiber optic bronchoscopy, lung cancer screening and thoracentesis services. **RESPONSIBLITITES**
+ Schedule pre-procedure nursing visit to coincide with ambulatory procedure, coordinating nursing schedule with various clinics
+ Work closely with various Medical Directors, Managers, and RN3 to determine
+ Verify outpatient benefit information for a seamless transition to clinic-based services
+ Direct calls and messages to appropriate staff in a timely manner
+ Assist in managing provider templates and schedules
+ Interface with UW Medicine Contact Center and maintain scheduling procedures consistent with clinic and patient access goals
+ Cover for non-clinical staff absences as necessary to maintain clinic operations **QUALIFICATIONS**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent
+ Three years of Patient Support Service experience **OR**
